Birth Place can not be "Guernon castle, Calvados, France" as it is wroten in Wikipedia, because:

  1. there is no "Guernon castle" in Calvados, but "Guernon-Ranville castle" (Château de Guernon-Ranville)
  2. This castle has been built in XVIIth century
  3. The "Guernon-Ranville" parish has been named this way, when "Guernon" familly bought it… in 1751.

The correct place could be: "Fauguernon fief". See: wk:fr:Château de Guernon-Ranville
