SOLOMON DINGMAN
OBITUARY
St. Cloud Journal-Press: Solomon H. Dingman died March 3, at 2 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. E. Barr, where he has made his home for the past ten months , having been confined to his bed during this time. Mr. Dingman was born near Caberg, Canada, on November 26, 1836. With his parents he moved to Chicago, when 9 years of age where he made his home until grown to manhood. During the war he went to Wisconsin, where he enlisted in Co. "E" First Wisconsin Heavy artillery, where he served until discharged June 25, 1865. For the past 40 years he has made his home in Little Falls, where he leaves many friends who will mourn his loss. He also leaves a wife, two sons, George and Charles Dingman, of Chehalis, Wash., and a daughter, Mrs J.E. Barr, of this city, at whose home he passed away, also Mrs. C.R. Trabant of this city. The remains were brought to Little Falls Monday morning and services were held from the Methodist Church at 2 o'clock. Rev. W.C. Lee of St Cloud held a short service at the home of J.E. Ba at St. Cloud Monday morning at 9 o'clock.
