Another possibility is the Danish family of Hodger (Ogier) (Auchier) (Ajjar) ? (The Dacian) (Dulo Clan, d. 817) (an eastern Goth with ties to Denmark), more specifically perhaps the son or grandson of Turgesius (?, d. 845). It has also been suggested that the name Catalus mentioned as a relative may actually be a reference to one of the Eastern kingdom of Karketia or Kartli, however if one accepts Rocco ? (?, b. about 830) as the possible father, or alternately as perhaps the same person as Rollo, it is clear that the reference to Catalus is a reference to Ketel of the Hebrides whose daughter was the wife of Turgesius according to the records of Yahya bn-Hakam el Bekri al Djayani who visited the Court of Turgesius in Dublin in 844.
