Mustered out Company G, 138th, 2 1 Sep 1864 Indianapolis, IN Civial War Pension granted May 2, 1889 in Kansas Moved to Idaho to take advantage of Homestead Act. His homestead of 1 63 Acres in Canyon County (presumably Nampa) was granted March 30,1900 . Bureau of Land Management serial number: IDIDAA013253 According to 1920 US Census, was living in Idaho Soliders Home Militar y Barracks, in Census Precinct 9 (Ada County, Idaho), apparently a hom e for civil war veterans.
