David,
I have been studying your work on Rootsweb and it has been very helpful to myself, and 3 cousins across the country. We are related to your Addisons and we have quite a lot of information on their descendants. We come from a GJ Addison, who was a brother of Mayfield and a cousin of Lott. We believe that his father was John, born in 1785, in SC, the first son of John, born 1765. Have you been in touch with Debbie Jenkins? She is descended from Brazil and has quite a lot of information. I think the 2 of you could fill in a lot of blanks for each other. Please let me know if you would like me to forward her information on to you.
I hope that we can do a little digging together.
Thanks,
Jeanine Martin
