Count of Dagsburg. Pope Leo IX, his brother, remembers him in a donation on 18 11 1049. His possessions were destroyed by the rebellious Ernst II of Swabia, which thus Hugo (a loyal vassal of the emperor) turned off as a threat to his campaign in Burgundy.
