According to Jain texts^{Ref needed !} he conquered all of the earth becoming King of Kings in Sumer ("Sumeru" or Meru (Meroe)) (the capital of the world and greatest temple) and placed a his flag. Him felt insignificant in the wake of his victory having learned that he was just another in a long chain of world conquerors before him. He abdicated to his adopted son and became a priest.

It is said^{Ref needed !} that he had 3 wives and 9 sons all of whom were born defective. He made a sacrifice to the priests of Marut and was rewarded with a son (the son of his wife fathered by a priest of Marut)
