On 19 June 1819 Dennis Kennedy paid Thomas & Margaret Early $480.00 for 40 acres starting at the waters of Indian Creek in line of Thomas Owens survey S 46 degrees W 52 poles next to line of Robert Kar & Robert Wells.
[not sure if these are related or fit in somehow: 12 February 1801 Joseph & Sarah Clark sold land to Alexander Kennedy, all of Clermont Co., territory of the United States, for $40.00. 23 July 1814 Alexander Kennady [sic] & Margaret his wife of Clermont County sold 20 acres to John Clark for $250.00.]
1830 US Census lists a Mary Cobbert born ca 1772 in Maryland living with them.
Will dated 4 Apr 1842 left everything to wife Ellenor and sons Wm. W. Kennedy and Samuel Kennedy: Verbal will & testament of Dennis Kennedy late of Clermont Co. witnesses Joseph Dougherty & Robert Wells To "wife Ellonor Kennedy, the plantation on which we now reside situated on the waters of Indian Creek and in the county aforsaid containing about 40 acres, during her natural life count two cows, two horses, and one-third of the sheep & hogs by me now owned and kept there in. Also all the household furniture and other items not particularly named and otherwise not disposed of in this will." To "two sons Wm. W. Kennedy & Samuel Kennedy" 11 Jan 1842 oing tot he deffuss of the said Dennis Kennedy; wife Elenor Kennedy 5 Jan 1842 Dennis Kennedy (over age 50 years, very deaf) very sick, communicated will.
