Láeg, or Lóeg, son [descendant] of Riangabar [Ri a Angabar], is the charioteer and constant companion of his son Cúchulainn in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology. In the mythology he travels to the Otherworld with Lí Ban, sister to Fand, and returns with bountiful descriptions of the afterlife. He is killed by a spear intended for Cúchulainn.
