Notes

This record needs sources. Please help this record by adding reliable references. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed.

It is suspected but not proven that this person may be a descendant or relative of Turgesius (?, d. 845) of Dublin who was a member of the house of Holdger. There is a theory that links the Norman house of Rollo also to the house of Holdger, if this is true it may account for the fact that of all the subjugated Saxons in the wake of the Norman invasion, only the relatives of Godiva were exempt from confiscation.
