ANDRONIKOS Kantakouzenos. He is shown as nephew of Ioannes Kantakouzenos in Europäische Stammtafeln[461]. According to Sturdza, Andronikos and Ioannes Kantakouzenos were the sons of Ioannes Kantakouzenos, Byzantine general & his wife Maria Komnene[462]. No primary source has yet been identified which confirms either of these propositions. Sébastos, gambros of Emperor Isaakios II. A seal dated to [1150] names "Andronikos Kantakouzenos, sebastos"[463]. Dux and anagraphaos of Mylasa and Melanudion 1175.
