22 September 2005 — Rodovid is launched in Kyiv, Ukraine as a project independent of the Wikimedia Foundation. 25 December 2006 — Rodovid passes a landmark in its development as the number of genealogical records in its database reached 50,000. 15 February 2007 — The number of genealogical records exceeds 60,000. 12 May 2007 — The number of records in the database reaches 70,000. 19 June 2007 — Rodovid switches to its brand new, proprietary engine Rodovid 0.2, which helped ease work with genealogical records and improved generation of family trees. 23 July 2007 — Rodovid boasts 80,000 records in its database. 24 September 2007 — The number of records in the database reaches 90,000. 3 December 2007 — Rodovid breaks the figure of 100,000 genealogical records in its database. |
