The Bellonids (Catalan Bel·lònides[1]; Spanish Bellónidas; French Bellonides[2]; sometimes called the Bellonid Dynasty) were the counts descendant of the Goth Belló who ruled in Carcassonne, Urgel, Cerdanya, Conflent, Barcelona, and numerous other Catalan and Septimanian counties and marches in the ninth century and whose most famous grandson was Wilfred the Hairy, who founded the ruling dynasty of Barcelona[3]. which lasted until 1410 and the death of Martin I of Aragón.
