About clan/lineage, marriage and place names

Hello Dhoey!

How are you?

Lineages

I really don't understand how you want to use "lineage" field. When you write something there, it creates a link to a page gathering all peoples sharing the same lineage. When this page is not created, it's (of course) a red link.

So, you often write something there, which is used for only one person, and sometimes only for brothers and sisters. This does not work…

I think it's better then to write all these names in "First name at birth" field, or in "Other last names". This will avoid to create useless "Lineage:" pages!

Places

Please use Wikipedia.en spelling for places, because you're writing in Rodovid.en. So don't write: Pangkalpinang, but Pangkal Pinang. So then, all peoples who lived an event in Pangkal Pinang, will be gathered in advanced search results. And then writing a place name will be usefull…

===answer about this

i think you must see explain about Pangkal pinang in wikipedia. there is new word about Pangkalpinang. it's new name for kota pangkalpinang.

thank you for your attention.

Marriages

Don't use "marriage count" field (in "Person:" pages) to write date and place. Please use "marriage" field, in "Family:" pages to write it. It's twice less work for you.

Second demand

Hello again!

Though I asked simple things, you did'nt answer or changed your behavior in Rodovid. It's not a good idea… Did you read the above message? --Christophe Tesson - talk. 11:32, 16 October 2016 (EEST)
