About Project DFA

Project DFA was incorporated in the State of Delaware as a Non Profit organization in 2010 as a response to industry need in resolving some of the genealogical mysteries posed by modern DNA studies. The main office of Project DFA is located in Orem Utah. They examine and validate genealogical claims regarding the identity of otherwise mythological and legendary individuals and groups who appear in lineages and work to restore them to their proper place within history.Pioneering efforts in this area have been provided by other groups and individuals in the past but a certifying body has never before been incorporated in the United States.

Project DFA Philosophy There is no relationship between Project DFA Inc and any other organization, or system of thought with regard to history and theories descent whether political or religious. Their methods are informed by scientific means, and they utilize all tools at their disposal including comparative studies, history, geography, natural science, DNA testing, paleography, comparative linguistics, anthropology and more. They do not have a body of cannonical research material nor do they subscribe to the doctrine of "Scriptural Inerrancy". Rather they maintain that any body of literature authored by, compiled, abridged, translated, or edited by humans will contain errors and may be tainted by the opinions, politics, and circumstances of the individual; therefore, the do not accept any single body of literature or reference as more or less accurate than another. Project DFA encourages efforts by individuals and organizations to perform DNA testing in connection with establishing the ancestral origins of archaeological remains.
