The name as rendered here is from the Dacio Sarmation records of the Goths who stated that the sacred mountain of Kogianon was the site of their prophet's death and resurrection. All attempts to locate this mountain in the region near the Black sea have been fruitless. It is not known where this sacred mountain actually exists. Is it possible that this name Kogianon is a linguistic derivation of the name Golgatha.
