Notes
While a resident of Schenectady NT, he enlisted 8 December 1781 in the King's Royal Regiment, 2nd Battalion. He was 5'5" tall. He fled to the Kingston area and lived with the Indians until the end of the war. However, in 1784 he returned to the states for his family. During 1785 he returned to Upper Canada. On 2 Sep 1785 he received a grat of 200ac, L2, C3 in Twp no. 1 (Cataraqui, now Kingston Twp). Sometime later he exchanged this lot with Terrence Dunn and David Purdy, who were the listed owners in 1789/90. Then, on 26 Nov 1800, a Fiat was issued in his name for this same property, and it was registured to him on 4th Aug 1802
