Proposes that Lydia Powers born 16 J ul 178 7married James Newberry, abt 1805 and died 22 Feb 1872 in Bolivar MO ,was sibling to Alexander and Ester Powers who married Robert Newberry20 N ov 1809 3 in Wythe Co, VA and died in MO. It is possible that Lydia and Esther Powers are siblings marryingsiblings. However there is no evidence that Alexander Powers Sr. left Maine. The 1790 and 1830 Maine Census records have Powers and Wheelers inLincoln County Maine. Family in MO by 1820's.
