It is possible that this person may actually be a composite of two separate individuals who near the same time.
During his leadership the Kaskans and Sea peoples divide and conquer the outer rims of the decaying Hittite Empire. Shortly thereafter the Kaskans as a distinct people dissappear from the record and are replaced or merged into the smaller tribes in the areas which they conquer. The Luwian people and Halizones are the only remaining remnants of the once great confederation in the western region with a capital in the city of Tarhuntassa (Troy) while Pontus begins its ascendancy in the East.
