There was a mercenary in the Polish army (Shkotskaya company). September 5th, 1613 Polish garrison defending the fortress White (present. Mr. White Smolensk region), gave Russian. He entered the service of Russia. In 1618 spazhalsya with Poles near Mozhaisk Prince Kurakin in the unit. He distinguished himself in the battle of Moscow against the Poles and Lithuanians in the Arbat gate, where he was heavily panen.
