Padusia, her husband, and a Christian deacon named Grunitus were all accused of plotting against the powerful military commander Aetius. All three were condemned and executed in RavennaRef needed !.

Scholars believe Padusia to be the same person as S....padusia, a friend and confidante of the Empress Galla Placidia, the mother of Valentinian IIIRef needed !.
