Klosowski, died Saturday, (June 17, 2000) at her home. Born in Willimantic, daughter of Irene (Gaudreau) Wrzesien of Storrs, and the late William Wrzesien, she had lived in Willimantic, moving to South Windsor 37 years ago. Sandra was the food service manager at the Eli Terry Elementary School in South Windsor, retiring in 1995. She was a communicant of St. Margaret Mary Church in South Windsor and, along with her husband, was a Eucharist Minister at the church and at Hartford Hospital for many years. She and her husband were members of the Marriage Encounters at the church. She was a member of the Ellington Country Quilters. Besides her husband and mother, she leaves two sons, Mark Klosowski and his partner, Steven Falk of Campbell, CA, Michael Klosowski and his wife, Susan of Vernon; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Michael Gottier, and Susan and John Skala, all of South Windsor; and four grandchildren, Paul and Elizabeth Gottier, Michael and Matthew Klosowski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 21, 9 a.m., at St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Rd, South Windsor. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, South Windsor. Her family will receive friends at the Samsel and Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, Tuesday, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Guilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Registry, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm and Carlton Streets, Buffalo, NY 14263.
