Governor of Gilan 1537-1567 and 1576-1592, fled to Shirvan after his rebellion was suppressed in August 1592, a relative of H.M. The Mahd-i-Aliya Nawab-i-Sipihr Istibah Bilqis uz-Zamani Khair un-nisa Begum and son of Sayyid Sultan Hasan Karkiya, of Lahijan, in Gilan.
