Arliotti

The Arliotti family (Greek: Αρλιώτης) is originally from the region of Epirus. They originally appeared in Corfu as "cittadini" (citizens), and were ennobled in 1797. Nicolò Arliotti (b. 14 September 1731 d. before 1803) is well known to historians of Greece and the Greek sphere for his in-depth memoirs that chronicle the violent changes that occurred during his lifetime. His son, Demetrio Arliotti (b. 28 November 1777 d. 19 January 1860) was an eminent jurisconsultant, senator, friend of the French Republic, and is perhaps best known as the biographer of Giovanni Capodistria, the first prime minister of Greece.
