Although Wikipedia says not to confuse Elulu and Ilulu, further research shows that these two individuals may in fact be the same person. The reign of Elulu in Ur of Caldea began during the reign of Shar-Kali-Sharri of Akkadia and Ur became a major player in the struggle for power in the political vaccuum that followed the death of Shar-Kali-Sharri. The strife ended with Ur emerging as the major political power under the Kingship of Ilulu in -2126. This struggle lasted for 3 years.
