Notes
a mnemonic device is employed to trace genealogy back over the centuries which involves remembering only the pivotal surnames or Clan Founders. Sometimes it is only the nickname that is remembered which preserves either the memory of a migration, or a singular event. Hence in oral genealogies of this type many generations may pass between names.
"Folcwald was born in Aswald, Sacandanavia. Folcwald's father is Trojan Godwulf (b: 80, d: 163) of Asfard, Scandanavia. His mother is Gogolfr (B: 80, d: 180). Trojan's father is Geata Jat Trojan (B: 65, d: 155AD). Geata's father is Taetwa Tecti (40 - 100 AD), whose father is Beow. This line of paternal ancestry continues as follows: Sceldwa DE Troy, Heremond Heremod, Heremond Heremod, Athra Hatta, Hwala Whala, Bedwig Of Sceaf, Danus I Seskef, Magi De Troy, Magi De Troy, Vingener De Troy, Vingethor De Troy, Einridi, King Loridi,(All from Aswald, Scandanavia), King Loidi's father is Tror of Troy, and the paternal ancestry continues back as follows: Munon of Troy, Tithonus OF Troy, Laomedon of Troy, Ilus of Troy, Tros of Troy, Erichthonius, King Of Acadia, Dardanus King Of Dardania, Zarah Ben Judah, Judah ben Isreal, Jacob ben Isaac, Isaac ben Abraham, etc. back to Adam"
At the time of Folcwald Scandinavia also included lands south on the river Don to the Sea of Azov and portions of Daco-Sarmatia. In the genealogy given above, many generations are skipped and it is interesting to note that in the Hittite records the Kings of Troy and Acadia are named as descendants of Abraham through his grandson Adonai the Idumean (a son of Esau) who became the ruler of Adaniya.
Research shows that some mistakes were made in the transcription of the genealogy of Foldwald. His name Godwulf comes from his mother's name Gogolfr (a Geatish name for "Sacred Mountain" Kogaionon) His father, Gylfi was a Swydd from the region of Asfard, meaning "Far away Asgard" as opposed to the local Asgard which was located in Dacia. The supposition is that Foldwald represents a generation removed from its homeland to the colonial lands in the north.
