Margaret makes after the death of her husband Gijsbrecht, as she lives in Utrecht, a tapestry on which of the two arms are in the corners: van Arkel, Both van der Eem, of Virneburg and an unknown weapon, belonging to the mother of Gijsbrecht.
In 1346 Margaret chaplain pays a deadline of 3200 gold shields commissioned by the bishop (her brother Jan) to pay off the building in Overijssel.
In her Testament (1366) speaks of a cousin, Cunigonde that nun in the convent to Oudwijk, and a brother Hendrick Venedau (who died in 1369).
According Arkelse Chronicles would Mabelia (Margaret), the widow of Mr van der Eem, the Franciscan Monastery in Utrecht after 1310 [after 1334] founded or rebuilt.
