Lineage:Agathyrsian Pict
From Rodovid EN
The Agathyrsian Picts were originally the tribe of Agathyrsi a migrant tribe who migrated north from Scythia/the Roselagen in the Caucusus mountains to the Baltic sea where they set up tribal lands in both the Westfold Solejar area of Sweden and Westfold Sogne in Norway. From Norway they traveled back and forth between the area of Westfold Anglia (Northumberland and Scotland) where they were called Picts (Picti=The painted "tattooed" ones) by the Romans and Romanized Britons. Some of the Agathyrsi did not travel north, instead they traveled south to Turkey, the Levant, Greece and North Africa where they intermarried with the local Gaelic populations giving rise to the legends of the Amazons of Greece and the Amazigh of North Africa.
